Clytie and Demon meet at a bar when she'south out on a bullheaded date with another man and Demon is pretty much hooked correct off the bat. She'southward funny, quirky, sweet and merely has eyes for him. It's a little OTT but fun nonetheless particularly when a certain big dude goes caveman on his Baby. I get that the story isn't very long and that therefore it has to exist quicker to develop but I felt that it rushed through the relationship growth too readily. Their chemistry in bed was outstanding and Clytie was so f Clytie and Demon meet at a bar when she'southward out on a blind date with another man and Demon is pretty much hooked right off the bat. She's funny, quirky, sugariness and only has eyes for him. It's a piddling OTT merely fun withal specially when a certain big dude goes caveman on his Infant. I get that the story isn't very long and that therefore it has to exist quicker to develop but I felt that it rushed through the human relationship growth too readily. Their chemistry in bed was outstanding and Clytie was so frigging cute that I really wanted to see them grow together a niggling more than naturally. My eyes glazed over a little on the activeness in the end, which was unusual for me. All in all though this is definitely on runway with what I wanted so a large thanks to Barbara, Tonya, and CC for the rec. Ah, I really needed a brusque shifter book. Yup, that's my go-to genre when I'chiliad in a strange mood and I don't know what to read..

Anyway, the story was pretty nice, the writing was decent (a few grammer mistakes but ah well) and the characters weren't too bad. I loved the friend-characters though, they were bully! Funny and smart and they fabricated me curious about the next volume.

This was pretty featherbrained merely I really enjoyed information technology. Demon is an extremely possessive wolf shifter who claims a man Clytie without telling her. The style she played off his caveman tactics was humorous. It'south a pretty short book and information technology does get a fleck graphic in violence towards the end but it's mostly a funny novella. I'k curious if the rest of the series is just as practiced.

I beloved information technology when I discover a new series that has quirky heroines with some growly alphas and I call up I may have just stumbled upon one. In that location were definitely some laugh out loud moments. There were a few times I caught myself rolling my eyes, but I had so much fun I ignored that.

"Now remember Demon, repeat the mantra, 'I am dangerous, I am tough. I have a scary tattoo on my neck.' In no fourth dimension at all, everyone will believe information technology."

Clytie was off the wall fun. Her starting time coming together with Demon and how she ha I love it when I detect a new series that has quirky heroines with some growly alphas and I think I may accept just stumbled upon one. There were definitely some express joy out loud moments. There were a few times I caught myself rolling my optics, just I had then much fun I ignored that.

"At present recall Demon, echo the mantra, 'I am unsafe, I am tough. I take a scary tattoo on my neck.' In no fourth dimension at all, anybody will believe it."

Clytie was off the wall fun. Her first meeting with Demon and how she handled his expectations on how she would react to his overly tall, scarred and scary appearance had me in stitches. How she dealt with all the zaniness and surprises she was in for when she hooked up with Demon and his friends kept me guessing what she would say next and laughing whenever she opened her rima oris. Clytie's family unit history was another affair altogether, both heart breaking and anger inducing. Her family was a nasty and judgemental group that she was on the outs with for very proficient reason.

"All right." He froze. "What?" "All right." "All right, what?" "All right. I'll motility in with you." "All correct, you'll move in with me and call me master?" She snorted out a laugh. "Nice try."

Demon was gruff, mean, growly, alpha protective, and hilarious all rolled up into a 7 foot tall, scarred, hot package. My favorite kind of H. Yes, in that location was definitely fashion as well much insta-dear going on and the fast pace of the motility in was admittedly ridiculous, but it's a shifter book so I can give some grace on that. Demon had his own family issues that required a bit more activeness than an mental attitude aligning. Thank goodness our seven foot alpha monster tin can dish out some serious, only sometimes gruesome, whoop-ass.

Not only did I really savour Clytie and Demon, just I loved the Lionsgate pack every bit a whole. Ben and Mac who share a chemical compound with Demon, were particularly endearing and I can't look to read their story. I take high hopes for this series and tin't look to dive into the next i.

I have no involvement in the residual of this series. Merely I hear there is a winter hymeneals volume coming for Demon and Clytie this November. I will definitely pick that upwards!

I tried, honestly, I tried to read this simply it was so riddled with typos, as if no 1 even took a look at information technology to edit it. I tried to ignore but the missing commas and the constant typos just well-nigh collection me insane that I finally stopped after reading a couple chapters. To exist honest, it was that and how TSTL the heroine was within those showtime 2 chapters that made me end reading information technology. She was absolutely silly/dumb and I didn't care for her at all.

This was a swell story. I really loved Clytie and Demon...they made a surprisingly good pair. This is the first story I've read by this author and I was very pleased with it. I will be trying out more of her work.

Demon is a wolf shifter. He used to be a Navy SEAL and now does security systems and such. He has a pack made up of other shifters (of whatsoever variety) that banded together with him. He'southward never had a existent relationship only when he meets Clytie, he has an instinctual demand for her and proceeds to claim her. I really liked Demon. He's possessive and totally alpha but he is so sweet to Clytie and I just loved him! I think I've found a new book-boyfriend. :D

Things go pretty rapidly and Clytie and Demon end up in a very hot "first date" that lasts in to the next 24-hour interval. Clytie's a fleck freaked so she gets some fourth dimension lone to piece of work on her art but can't cease thinking about Demon. He can't stay away from her (although he does give her a few days..more often than not) and once he gets dorsum in to her life he strives to stay in that location. It doesn't take as well much though because Clytie realizes he's something special and is willing to give it a go. It is a bit of an insta-love thing but IMO information technology worked with the story. Of course, when things between them are adept something has to get wrong. Demon gets chosen away and Clytie ends upward in danger and goes through some trauma. Demon rescues her and things work out well. I loved the catastrophe of the book...overall it left me feeling happy and satisfied.

This was a great book. I loved Demon...so badass, hot and sweet all at once. Clytie is sweet and yet spunky and the perfect counter to Demon's badassedness. Very enjoyable and engaging story. I'd recommend it. Pollex up! :D

i/xvi/16 -This is a reread earlier reading Marrying Her. I still love Clytie and Demon and enjoyed their story very much. :)

Clytie,an artist and Demon,ex SEAL and wolf shifter meet in a bar 1 dark and hook up instantly.The sparks fly quickly and on the blink of an eye,they wind up in bed together with some scorching sex happening.Within the calendar week, Demon convinces her to move in with him because he wants forever with her...sigh......

I really enjoyed this book! I liked Demon and Clytie and thought they were sweetness together. I loved that Clytie stood her footing with Demon even though he was seven feet of solid muscle. I appreciated that fifty-fifty though we knew Demon has been with plenty of women we weren't given any details! The suspense/drama portion was well done. I also really liked his friends Mac, Ben, and the rest. Safe gang safe I actually enjoyed this book! I liked Demon and Clytie and thought they were sweet together. This volume was soooo good!!! Great H and h. That doesn't happen very often. Usually I like ane or the other much more. Not hither. Clytie is a sassy h that gives as practiced every bit she gets. And Demon, oh Demon. I just loved how he never wanted to part from her from the showtime time they were together. I love Mac and Ben too and the other secondary characters. Well except Sarah. When I saw this I got excited and immediately began reading it. My hopes crashed effectually 23%. I'll get the little complaint out of the way commencement: WHY ARE UNNECESSARY LETTERS CAPITALIZED??? Why is ass capitalized? Or anal? Altogether? Catchy damn true cat? Cease it! Get a beta! If you have 1 get 3! Grammar and punct This was...... not very adept. I went in excited because lately there haven't been any good paranormal, specially shifter, books for me to read (I read a lot so I become through them fast). Nor did the fight with Clytie'due south sister. The author is bad at creating disharmonize for the characters to deal with and overcome. The characters are funny, just they alloy into the background often times. And there was no caption as to who some of the other characters were. They just bear witness upwards out of nowhere. My but comment was that it was hard at time to hands distinguish when the POV inverse, but other wise I loved this book.

I may be a little biased with this ane. The hero, Demon in a lot of ways reminded me of my husband. So I loved him direct out the gate. He could do no incorrect. Clytie was definitely the perfect yin to Demon's yang. Loved watching these 2 get to know one another. They had great chemistry. The secondary characters ranging from Demon's posse, to Clytie's family to the villains were all fleshed out well. They kept the story/ drama, & suspense moving at a steady pace. The reveals were a little scary just quite entertaining.

This i had some LOL moments & sweetness endearing ones as well.

And let me only say the sex scenes in this one were plentiful, amazingly white hot, and had me running similar a faucet. Wow.

So if you're looking for a paranormal read that is hot, short, sweet & packed with plenty of story, I would highly recommend that you expect here.

Demon is a non nonsense wolf shifter who has no plans hitching himself to any woman. And then Clytie Jones approaches him at the bar he hangs out at, she is non agape of him or his scar. She offers some sense of humor to his day merely when her blind date turns out badly, Demon decides to step in.

Clytie knows she is non a worldly woman, in fact she is a 28 twelvemonth former virgin. However, she decides to give in to one nighttime with Demon thinking he is the perfect man to slumber with. Demon though decides that Clytie is his mate and she is not going anywhere. A homo who is used to being by himself now has to quickly learn how to charm his mate who has a heed of her own.

Sweet story. I liked that Clytie and Demon were polar opposites. Demon struggles a bit with trying to communicate withhis mate, which is quite entertaining. Great read, looking forward to more in this series.

Fairly well done. It could have been longer to develop the story. I thought the heroine's reaction to the werewolves was reasonably thought out. The relationship with the two roommates of the hero was nice. There were quite a few characters especially at the stop that muddied things up quite a bit. Non a good outset to a serial, horrible world and character building. I only finished it, because I read all the other books in the series.

Some absolute no-no's: virgin heroine at near 30. unprotected sexual practice, a few hours after they first meet. Consent isn't ever clear (but it was nowhere well-nigh as rapey every bit the novella 2.5). Motherfucking stupid heroine. And and so on.

4.5 stars. What a fucking jewel this turned out to exist. Humor, hot sexual practice, believable insta-love, slap-up characters and an Alpha Male person hell bent on keeping his woman. I completely believed the connection between the H and h. I believed that he knew that she was his from the beginning, so I understood his aggressive and determined stance that she have him and the love and commitment that he was offering to her. And, yep, I believed that the h completely caved over such an aggressive male that so clearly ad four.5 stars. What a fucking jewel this turned out to exist. Humor, hot sexual practice, conceivable insta-love, great characters and an Alpha Male person hell bent on keeping his adult female. I completely believed the connection between the H and h. I believed that he knew that she was his from the start, and so I understood his aggressive and adamant opinion that she take him and the honey and commitment that he was offer to her. And, yep, I believed that the h completely caved over such an ambitious male that so conspicuously adored her and was devoted to her care and well beingness.

I thought the relationship between the H and h was great. I loved that even though she was overwhelmed that she still was strong, fearless, and determined that she would non be trampled into oblivion by her possessive male. The times when she gave into him didn't come across as weakness because it was clear that she understood that she was a priority for him and that his remorse was present when called for.

I besides loved the H's team/pack. Their camaraderie and their skill sets and their willingness to be their for 1 another. They were crawly and I want more more more more.

I thought i had this review all figured out. BTW this was around page thirty. And then it was gonna go like this,

I loved how Clytie was fearless in the face up of this seven-foot monster. personally i similar my guys in the range of vi'ii to vi'5. And then Demon was huuuugee!!! xD

I absolutely adore the Ben-Mac duo and how they knew just when Clytie and Demon were gonna disappear and need alone time and therefore which plans were to be cancelled. :P

The only thing i can say is that, id actually like to know how the hell do you pronounce "Clytie" :/

I'll beginning off past saying I am ticked off that I paid so much money for this and I was very tempted to render it. The number of typos, plus extremely poor punctuation, just almost did my head in. It took the focus off what was not a bad story.

Aside from the bottomless punctuation (especially when it came to apostrophes), this was a decent story. The characters were interesting and it flowed reasonably well. Information technology felt a bit rushed towards the end, merely the epilogue did provide some closure.
